Sunday Report

We had a good morning of worship at the BCC.  One of the best lines of  Pastor Richard's sermon was, "You are either a missionary or a mission field."  We did get something of a surprise today as we prepare for VBS beginning tomorrow.  Instead of 32 children for VBS, we are now expecting 180!  Please pray for a loaves and fishes miracle with our craft supplies.  (And speaking of supplies, none of our bags has yet arrived.  180 children and no supplies would be a real challenge!)  Everyone is feeling good and has a great attitude in spite of the changes in plans.

Arrival

Jambo!
We had a great night's sleep and are preparing to go to worship at the Baptist Children's Center.  Our travel was very smooth, and everyone's healthy.  Our only hiccup is that none of our bags made it!  I loved the look on the baggage person's face when I went to the desk and said I was missing 27 bags!  They should come today or tomorrow, and I don't think its going to be a big deal at all.  We have a great, relaxed group, and are looking forward to seeing the children at the BCC!

Final Preparations!

This week is a little frantic as we're packing, praying, and preparing for our trip.  Please pray for safe travel and effective ministry as we go to share fellowship and service with our brothers and sisters in Christ in Kenya.  We will post updates here as internet availability allows!
